JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued Wednesday afternoon until 3 p.m. for Duval and Nassau counties.
Hail and strong winds up to 60 mph were possible across the area.
The same storm weather system also prompted warnings in Camden County in Georgia.
The storms are expected to move quickly offshore by 3:45 p.m.
The storms will bring cooler temperatures to the area in the evening but there could still be light rain and storms possible around sunset.
