LIVE RADAR: It is slowly drying out tonight

Another outdoor hose down tomorrow

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Heavy rain today left Yulee with more than 3 inches of rain. JAX beach had 2.25 and most areas received over .75 inches over inland locations.

Scattered showers this evening will taper off tonight but the flood potential will stay high tomorrow.

Slow thunderstorms Friday raised the rain chance to 80% including the weekend. Heavy rainfall will set up along the I-95 corridor and coastal counties during the late afternoon/evening hours.

The heat will be tempered by the humid and wet pattern with highs in the lower 90s along with heat indices in the 102-106 range.

It looks to be a hot one on Saturday, but Sunday could break the at or >90 high streak. As of Wednesday, we have reached 90+ as the high for 33 days in a row!
