Storms weaken over Georgia, Keep your eye on the Atlantic

Now:  A large thunderstorm is slowly weakening over southeast Georgia from Alma to Patterson.  This complex of storms will move into Blackshear and surrounding areas as it continues to slip south along Highway 84 and Highway 82 through around midnight.

Tonight:  Storms weaken over Georgia, Showers fade near the FL/GA line with patchy to areas of dense fog possible.

Tuesday:  Partly cloudy skies with a few afternoon showers and storms 30-50 percent.  Near seasonal temperatures continue with morning lows in the 70s inland and along the beaches.  Afternoon highs will hit the low to mid 90s and will feel like 100-107 degrees.  Wind:  Southwest then becoming southeast at 5 - 10 mph.

Looking ahead:  The summer pattern continues with increasing rain chances Wednesday - Friday.

Tropics:  We are watching something in the Atlantic that will try to form over the next 7 days.  Chances of development 0/50 percent over the next 2/7 days.
