We know the Tropics haven’t been much to talk about lately, but that’s all changing.
A potential system has a 0% chance of development over the next 48 hours, but a 50% chance of development over the next 7 days.
Tropics wise, we have had the Saharan Dust that has played a major factor in limiting tropical activity, but with that beginning to diminish, and continuing to throughout the rest of July and August, we could see an uptick in tropical activity. Another key factor at play are the ocean temperatures being warm, that will drive up tropical activity.
Here locally, highs are in the 90′s and there are chances for rain for some of you into the afternoon. “Feels like temperatures” are in the triple digits, so stay hydrated and lather up with sunscreen!
