Meandering Tropical Storm Debby brings coastal rain

Update @ 9:00 pm.  Bands of light rain continue.  These will swirl around Debby’s circulation overnight and through early Wednesday.  Drier conditions will develop as Debby moves toward South Carolina.

Tonight:  Light to moderate bands of rain will continue tonight as Debby moves east at around 3 mph.  Additional rainfall totals of 1-2 inches will be possible near Brunswick and across Glynn County, GA.  A half inch to around an inch will be possible across Nassau and Duval counties.

Wednesday:  A drier day west of Highway US1/301 with showers slowly moving offshore.  Rain chances 30-50 percent.  Morning lows in the 70s.  Afternoon highs in the upper 80s to low 90s.  Wind SW 15-20 mph then subsiding to 10-15 mph.

Tropics:  Watching a development area across the Caribbean.  Currently, it looks like it will track toward Nicaragua, Honduras before reaching Belize and the Yucatan.
