Sunday begins pleasant with temperatures in the low to mid 70s, with partly cloudy skies, light winds from the south with high humidity levels.

Rain begins early Sunday afternoon, with temperatures peaking in the mid 90s, with winds from the south and southwest as clouds develop. The heat index will make the feels like temperatures between 95 and 101 degrees Fahrenheit.

LOOKING AHEAD:

Average temperatures are in the mid 70s and low 90s this time of year. This week, temperatures will be slightly above average for the beginning of the week when it comes to high temperatures.

Rain chances will remain between 30 and 70 percent this week. With a cold front instigating storms on Monday.

Toward the end of the week, a widespread storm could occur between Thursday and Friday.
