Scattered showers and storms continue as the front slides south

Onshore wind returns with scattered showers and storms

Update @ 9:00 p.m.  Scattered showers with isolated storms continue from the Big Bend to our beaches.  The first round has pushed offshore with scattered activity continuing along the south-moving front.

Tonight:  From partly cloudy skies to scattered showers as the front shifts south.

Tuesday:  Another hot day with isolated showers, storms mainly across northeast Florida, 30-60 percent.  Mostly sunny skies will become partly cloudy with a chance of afternoon showers and storms.  Morning lows in the 70s.  Afternoon highs in the low to mid 90s.  Wind:  W/E 5-10 mph.

Tropics: Hurricane Ernesto is a Category 1. The rest of our Tropical waters are quiet.

Looking ahead: Scattered showers with storms are expected Wednesday through Friday.
