JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Rainy conditions as early as 11 this morning along the Northeast Florida coast before moving inland after lunchtime.
Heavy downpours and gusty winds could be associated with this system.
Showers will likely move slowly and stay mostly south of the FL/GA border. Storms will taper off this evening only to return on Labor Day making the beach less desirable.
Sunday highs: mid-80s at beaches, low 90s westside, and inland Southeast Georgia. Lows in the mid-70s.
Fog development overnight is possible, especially inland where the afternoon rains will be heaviest.
Labor Day: More stormy weather expected Monday afternoon might move outdoor plans inside.
