Keeping an eye on the tropics & the local rain pattern settling in today

Two systems we're watching in the coming week (WJXT)

Today, I’m tracking the tropics and your local forecast.

Highs today, and for the next few days will drop from the 90s into the 80s -- but feels-like temperatures keep us feeling like we’re in the triple digits.

While the actual highs are going to be more comfortable, your feels-like temperatures make it dangerous to be outside for long periods.

A rain pattern begins today and will likely start around your lunch hour. This pattern continues for the rest of the week, through the weekend.

Pack the rain jacket, and prepare for showers and storms to soak you throughout the week.

For the children at the bus stop, they’ll need extra water to stay hydrated, and a rain jacket to stay dry. It might be a wet ride or walk home for them today.

Tropics: 2 systems in the Atlantic have a chance for development and IF they develop, they hold the potential to become Tropical Depressions later this week.

Make it a magical Tuesday!
