Additional rainfall did bring some flooding, but for the areas still mopping up the mess caught a break tonight.
Rounds of rain washed out some football games while areas that have seen back to back bouts of flooding got a respite for the night.
Tonight: The Flood Watch continues through early Saturday morning. Rounds of rain over saturated ground cover could lead to temporary flooding overnight.
Saturday: Rain and flooding risks continue. Rounds of showers and thunderstorms will start in the morning along the stalled front across Northeast Florida. This will be a focal point for afternoon showers and thunderstorms which could produce widespread rainfall amounts of 1.5 - 3.00 inches of rain through early Sunday morning. Higher amounts will be possible for the southeast Georgia coast and coastal Nassau County. Morning lows in the 70s. Afternoon highs in the 80s. Wind NE 5-10 mph.

Looking ahead: Flooding will be possible through the weekend and then the pattern shifts north, into SE GA next week.
