LIVE RADAR: Gusty winds, lingering rain, and a sky full of clouds

Over 3″ of rain was reported in Nassau County Tuesday evening

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Flood Advisory continues in Nassau County until 11:30 p.m. Expect downpours capable of producing flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. The storms can produce additional rainfall in areas that are already saturated and have seen high accumulation over the past few days.

A Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday morning for coastal Northeast Florida counties.

Expect temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s overnight under mostly cloudy skies with breezy conditions. Along the coast the conditions will seem like a tropical system is knocking on our door from the Atlantic side, but is a stationary front that’s going to eventually move out and allow our weather to return to normal summerlike temperatures, with drier air by this weekend.

Outer bands from Hurricane Francine will affect our weather by late Wednesday afternoon and Thursday.
