Another wet Wednesday with thunderstorms on tap; Flood Watch continues until 8 p.m. Thursday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Following days of rain, it is another wet start to Wednesday with thunderstorms across the area all day.

MORE: Wednesday forecast

Everyone will not see the rain at the same time, but it can pop up without much warning.

A stalled system off the coast will move onshore starting early Wednesday and drench the area.

Areas like San Marco have sustained some flooding on the roadways, so even the smallest shower can be detrimental to areas in Jacksonville.

A Flood Watch is in effect for the Northeast Florida coast, and downtown Jacksonville, and flash flooding will be an issue for some.

The Flood Watch is in place until Thursday at 8 p.m.
