Finally Friday forecast focuses on additional flooding concerns

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Flooding alerts continue on Friday with advisories and watches in effect through 8 p.m.

Coastal Flood Advisory continues: Inland SJC, Inland Flagler, Eastern Clay, Eastern Putnam, South Central Duval

Flood Watch continues: Inland Nassau, Inland SJC, Inland Flagler, Coastal Nassau, Coastal Duval, Coast SJC, Coastal Flagler

Areas with saturated ground and expecting more rain today could see an additional 1-2″ by late afternoon.

We’ll have partly cloudy and foggy skies give way to rainy conditions beginning after lunch with heavy rain and thunderstorms possible. Showers could produce another 1-2″ in already drowned areas.

Friday highs will be in the mid-upper 80s. Sunset is at 7:34 p.m.
