Warm and Breezy as Clean Up Continues

Warm Weekend with Showers

. (.)

A warm afternoon with wind gusts up to 30 mph under partly cloudy skies.  Clean up and damage repair continues across the area while others wait to have the power restored.  Cooler temperatures will move in tonight thanks to a cold front.  A few showers will be possible as the cold front moves across the area this weekend.

Evening:  Cooler with less wind and mostly clear skies.

Weekend:  Cool mornings followed by warm afternoons.  There will be a slight chance of showers on Saturday with slightly better chances Sunday.  Morning lows in the 60s to 70s.  Afternoon highs in the in the 80s.  Rain chances develop Saturday, 20 percent, with chances increasing to 40 percent on Sunday.  Wind: WSW 10-15 mph.

Next week:  Showers and thunderstorms will be possible Monday afternoon with seasonal temperatures and partly cloudy skies through much of next week.

Tropics:  Isaac is a Hurricane and Joyce is a Tropical Storm.  Neither are a concern for us.  There are two other areas that we are watching, one in the Caribbean.  Keep an eye on that spot...
