Storms end for the night, Watching the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico

Increasing rain chances this week

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies as showers end across northeast Florida. Partly cloudy skies tonight with areas of fog for inland areas and areas that saw the showers and storms today.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with patchy fog tonight.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy and warm. Scattered showers with storms will be possible, mainly across northeast Florida, after 2 pm, 30-50 percent. Morning lows in the 60s and 70s. Afternoon highs in the 80s to low 90s. Wind NW/NE 5-10 mph.

Wednesday - Friday: Warm and dry Wednesday with increasing rain chances Thursday, Friday.

Tropics: Joyce hangs on. Kirk will become a major hurricane. There are two other areas that we are watching, one could develop in the Gulf of Mexico. Keep an eye on the potential development and movement of this storm.
