A Warm Wednesday, Something in the Caribbean and your Weekend Forecast

. (.)

We continue to watch and area in the Caribbean and southern Gulf of Mexico that could have an impact on our weekend.  Mainly hot and dry conditions under partly cloudy skies over the next few days.

Tonight:  Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy with pockets of drizzle through midnight, south of I-10.

Wednesday:  Partly cloudy and warm.  A shower or two will be possible south of I-10, 20-30 percent.  Morning lows in the 60s and 70s.  Afternoon highs in the 80s to low 90s.  Wind NW/NE 5-10 mph.

Thursday - Friday:  Warm and dry weather continues Thursday with increasing rain chances Friday.

Weekend:  Breezy with showers.

Tropics:  Kirk is a Hurricane.  Leslie is likely in the coming hours.  Keep an eye on the development of the system in the Caribbean.  Environmental conditions support gradual development and a tropical depression could form by the end of the week or over the weekend as the broader disturbance moves fully into the Gulf of Mexico.  Any interests along the Gulf Coast should continue to monitor the progress of this system.

Sunrise:  7:21 a.m.

Sunset:  7:11 p.m.
