Weekend Weather

.
. (.)

The calendar says Fall, but our thermometers say Summer! Sunny and warm today under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Mostly clear tonight with patchy to areas of dense for Thursday morning. Becoming breezy with a coastal county showers possible.

Tonight: Mostly clear to partly cloudy with patchy fog late.

Thursday: Partly cloudy, breezy with showers possible, 20-40 percent. Morning lows in the 60s and 70s. Afternoon highs in the 80s. Wind N/NE 10-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph.

Friday - Weekend: Breezy with increasing rain chances, 40-60 percent. The northeast wind continues with rounds of showers, especially coastal counties through Game Day.

Tropics: Kirk is a Hurricane. TD 13 has formed and will become Leslie. We are still watching for development in the Caribbean or Gulf of Mexico. Gradual development of this system remains possible and a tropical depression could form over the weekend as the broader disturbance moves fully into the Gulf of Mexico. Interests along the Gulf Coast should continue to monitor the progress of this system.

Regardless of development, locally heavy rains could occur over portions of Mexico during the next several days and over portions of the Florida Peninsula this weekend and next week.
