Let's talk local forecast, tropics, and everything inbetween

Weekend, Game Day Forecast

. (.)

Good Friday Morning!

As we started the morning, some of you saw some showers coming in off the coast, and impacting you as you left your house.

We will continue to see showers forming throughout the day, but as far as your Friday Night Lights Forecast goes, it’s likely many of you will have a clear night come game time.

If you’re in Valdosta, Maclenny, and points west, showers are more of a commonality.

We’re in store for rain chances and wind speeds to be on the up and up through Sunday.

Let’s talk tropics!

Hurricane Kirk is now a major Hurricane, and it’s swells are going to produce rip currents for our Coastline.

Tropical Storm Leslie is continuing to stay west of us.

As far as the potential tropical system in the Gulf, there is now a 40% chance of development per the NHC.

This weekend and into early next week, rain will be an issue.

Have a wonderful Friday!
