Limited sunshine, breezy conditions, and rain to round out your Saturday

Tropical rainmaker moving our way by mid-week

Saturday Forecast

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The above-average weather is now behind us. Saturday’s forecast will bring morning coastal showers and gusty winds that will push inland throughout the day; temperatures will be slightly cooler in the low-to-mid 80s. Cloudy skies will prevail. Highs in the low-to-mid 80s.

Sunday’s forecast is trending a bit cooler with more rain pushing through the area. The Jags game is looking to be a wet and stormy event.

Tropics remain active with both Hurricane Kirk and Hurricane Leslie churning away, but far from land. The low-pressure system in the Gulf now has a 50-80% chance of tropical depression development in the next 2-7 days. This system is moving east-northeastward regardless and will be capable of locally heavy rains by mid-week.
