Sunday evening temperatures will drop into the mid 60s for Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida before midnight. Winds will remain light while shifting for the south to the west. Clear skies remain. Rain is not in the forecast. A cold front will begin to move through Monday evening. It will not should bring rain but will bring cooler temperatures, slightly below average.

A high rip current risk remains into the work week. Please stay out of the ocean until conditions improve. The risk is likely throughout the week as well.

TRACKING THE TROPICS

There is a disturbance in the Eastern Atlantic. It is currently identified as “AL94″. It has a well defined low with storms. A tropical depression could form as the system begins moving west-northwestward and approaches or moves near the Leeward Islands by the end of this week. Formation chance through 48 hours is 10 percent. Formation chance through 7 days is 40 percent.
