It's Soup and Stew season, Chilly temperatures overnight

Is it too early to start thinking about soups and stews? Some of the coolest temperatures of the season are on the way. The cold front continues pleasant temperatures with brisk breeze this weekend.

Tonight: Chilly under mostly clear and decreasing wind overnight.

Thursday: Sunny skies with a steady breeze and less than seasonal temperatures. A chilly breeze from the north-northeast 15 - 20 mph, gust to 30 mph. Lows in the upper 30s to the 50s for SE GA, 40s and 50s for NE FL. Highs in the 60s to low 70s.

Weekend: Windy with near seasonal temperatures and partly cloudy skies. Morning lows will dip into the 40s, 50s and 60s. Afternoon highs in the 70s. Breezy conditions with northeast wind 15-20 mph and gusts to near 30 mph.

Tropics: Two areas to watch. In the Caribbean, a 20 percent chance of development over 7 days continues. Invest AL-94 has a 30 percent chance in the next two days and a 40 percent chance in the next 7 days. Neither pose an immediate risk to our area.
