Jacket and Jack-o-lantern Weather Continues

Warmer and windy weekend

. (.)

Jacket and Jack-o-lantern weather continues.  Clear skies and light to calm wind will allow overnight temperatures to fall below seasonal lows.  Friday brings more of the same with slightly warmer temperatures this weekend.  The steady northeast wind could bring a few coastal showers as the risk of Tidal Flooding continues.

Tonight:  Clear and cool with light to calm wind.

Friday:  Sunny skies with increasing northeast wind and less than seasonal temperatures.  Wind:  North-Northeast 15 - 20 mph, gust to 25 mph.  Lows in the upper 30s to the 50s for SE GA, 40s and 50s for NE FL.  Highs in the 60s to low 70s.

Weekend:  Windy with near seasonal temperatures and partly cloudy skies.  Morning lows will dip into the 40s, 50s and 60s.  Afternoon highs in the 70s.  Breezy conditions with northeast wind 15-20 mph and gusts to near 30 mph.

Tropics:  Two areas to watch.  In the Caribbean, there is a 30 percent chance of development over the next 2/7.  Invest AL-94 is down to a 20 percent chance in the next two days and a 30 percent chance in the next 7 days.  Neither pose an immediate risk to our area.

Sunrise:  7:31 a.m.

Sunset:  6:53 p.m.
