Falling for a fantastic Sunday forecast

Sunday afternoon light showers

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It’s going to be another great weather day for us. Winds remain gusty at times up to 20 mph inland, and up to 35 mph at the beaches. Rip current risk remains high as the water is hazardous due to the onshore winds. Sporadic cloud coverage will keep temps below 80 for most of the area.

Sunday rip current risk

Light rain will move onshore in St. Johns and Flagler counties throughout the day. Keep the umbrella handy for those moments of inconvenient showers.

Otherwise, Southeast Georgia and areas north of I-10 will remain dry.

Temperatures will drop into the mid-60s Sunday night under partly cloudy skies.

Rain clears out and winds die down after Monday and temperatures move into the low 80s with more sunshine on the horizon.
