Tidal Flooding and the Onshore Wind Continues

A few showers continue for southern St. Johns and Flagler counties.  Coastal showers will be possible overnight under the lighter onshore wind.

Tonight:  Showers are possible along our beaches and coastal counties.

Tuesday:  Partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies after a few early morning showers, 20 percent.  Morning lows in the 50s and 60s inland with upper 60s to low 70s along our beaches.  Afternoon highs in the 70s to low 80s.  Wind NE 10-15 mph.

Workweek:  Mainly dry with near seasonal temperatures.  The onshore wind continues.

Tropics:  Tropical Storm Oscar is spinning over Cuba.  The storm will leave Cuba tonight and cross the Bahamas on Tuesday.

A Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect for the St. Johns River basin in Clay, Putnam and Flagler counties where ‘Moderate’ level flooding will occur around high tides.

A Coastal Flood Advisory continues for the local FL Atlantic coast and ICWW due to Minor tidal flooding where mainly nuisance tidal flooding will occur around high tides.
