A Halloween treat to start the week with a cold front taking a bite out of the heat

Lows tonight

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After several days of above-average highs in the upper 80s, Monday will bring a bit of a break and return to normal for the last week of October.

A cold front is expected to drop through our region bringing a nice reprieve to the extra warm temperatures we‘ve been having the last few weeks. Along with it, the possibility of onshore isolated showers and breezier conditions out of the northeast. Can‘t rule out the development of fog along US 301 and to the west overnight. Temperatures will drop into the low-to-mid 60s, which is a tad warmer than we’ve had the past few weeks.

Monday’s highs will stay in the upper 70s inland in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, while the coast will be cooler in the mid-70s.

Sunrise Monday is 7:28 a.m. Don‘t forget, we ’fall back' on Sunday, November 3 at 2 a.m.
