NHC 8am Outlook

No description found

There is a 40% chance of formation over the next 7 days.

As we move into November, there are no tropical waves to follow in the Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf of Mexico.

According to the Gulf of Mexico forecast, the strong high pressure north of the area will continue to support moderate to fresh winds and moderate seas across most of the Gulf region through the upcoming weekend.

Fresh-to-strong E winds are expected in the southeastern Gulf, including the Straits of Florida from Wednesday through Thursday.

In the Atlantic, an area of high pressure will continue to support an extended period of strong winds, producing rough seas that will affect our area’s beaches through the weekend.
