Above Average Temperatures and a Bonus Hour!

Clocks Fall Back One Hour

. (.)

The above average temperatures continue with partly cloudy skies and an occasional shower, mainly for the beaches.

Tonight:  Partly cloudy with showers possible along our beaches.  Patchy to areas of dense fog overnight.

Weekend:  Patchy fog early then becoming partly cloudy.  A warm weekend with a few showers possible, 10-20 percent.  The northeast wind continues, bringing partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies.  Morning lows in the 60s to low 70s.  Afternoon highs in the 80s.  Patchy to areas of dense fog overnight.

Tropics:  This is the one to watch in the Southwestern Caribbean Sea.  The broad area of low pressure is likely to develop over the next day or so.  Gradual development is possible and a tropical depression is likely late this weekend or early next week while the system drifts northward or northwestward.

The formation chance through 48 hours has increased to 40 percent and the formation chance through 7 days is now up to 80 percent.
