Mild night as rain slowly ends for SE GA

Slow moving, heavy rounds of rain led to flooding for areas of Ware and Pierce counties in southeast Georgia. The rain is winding down and will end late tonight.

Tonight: Showers will weaken and dissipate late tonight. Patchy fog.

Friday: Patchy fog early then becoming partly cloudy and warm. Afternoon highs will be closer to record levels than seasonal averages. Morning lows in the upper 60s to 70s. Afternoon highs in the 80s. The record for Friday is 85 degrees. Wind NE 5-10 mph.

Weekend: The warm pattern continues with a few sea breeze showers possible Sunday.

Tropics: Hurricane Rafael is a Category 2 and will slowly weaken as it moves across the Gulf of Mexico.
