Increasing chances of Sara forming in the Caribbean

Where does the developing system go?

. (.)

The Caribbean has been a hot spot of tropical activity and a ripe area for development so far this season. The pattern continues with an area of low pressure producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions will allow for development and a tropical depression is likely to form within the next two to three days.

The system is forecast to begin moving slowly northwestward by early next week. Keep an eye on this system.

The formation chance through 48 hours is up to 70% and the formation chance through 7 days is now 90%.
