Fall Weather Returns Friday, Watching Potential Tropical Cyclone 19

Light wind under cloudy skies with a slight chance of a shower or two overnight and Thursday. Cooler and sunnier days are on the way. What is going on with Potential Tropical Cyclone 19?

Tonight: Cloudy to partly cloudy skies, not as windy. A few coastal showers possible.

Thursday: Patchy fog early then becoming partly cloudy with a few showers, 10-20 percent. Morning lows in the 60s for SE GA, 60s to low 70s for NE FL. Afternoon highs in the 70s to low 80s. Wind SE 10-15 mph. Friday and the weekend forecast look great for the Jacksonville Fair with fall temperatures and sunny skies.

Potential Tropical Cyclone Nineteen: Increasing chances for development in the Caribbean. All models show something forming in the western Caribbean.

Environmental conditions appear favorable for development over the next couple of days while the system moves slowly toward the western Caribbean Sea.

Afterward, further development is likely while the disturbance meanders over the Caribbean through the weekend.

Formation chance through 48 hours has increased to 90 percent and the formation chance through 7 days remains at 90 percent.
