Riding out the final fair day with abundant sunshine

Sunday sunshine

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sunday will be a bit warmer than Saturday, but the overall results will be the same. Plenty of sunshine, blue skies, and light winds will finish out the weekend.

It’s the last day of the 2024 Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair and if football isn’t your thing today, consider riding out your Sunday eating and playing around outside at the fair.

Highs in the mid-70s Sunday afternoon before dropping back into the 50s overnight.

Monday morning will begin chilly before warming back up close to 80 in some spots.

Rain returns to the forecast Tuesday overnight into Wednesday, but moves out and leaves behind below-normal temperatures to end the week with highs only in the mid-60s.

Tropical Storm Sara is approaching Belize and is expected to make landfall before/around noon. Once this storm moves across the Yucatan Peninsula, the remnants will move into the Gulf of Mexico as a low-pressure system combining with the cold front from the west, bringing rain to our area early morning Wednesday.
