JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A weak cold front passing through Southeast Georgia may produce a stray shower for some, but won’t affect our spring-like warmth.
Due to the frontal system stalling and light winds, another round of patchy fog could be a factor for our inland counties overnight. Cloud coverage will keep temperatures mild through the overnight hours, as well.
Next round of showers is likely Thursday afternoon through Friday morning as a true cold front blows through bringing the possibility of thunderstorms along with the rain. The biggest difference with this cold front will be, well... the cold.
Plenty of sunshine will be around over the weekend, but the temperatures will be more like winter rather than fall. Expect lows to drop into the 30s and 40s for our region with highs only reaching the mid-60s. Frost advisories could be a factor, so be mindful of sensitive plants, people, and pets.
