JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – In case you didn’t realize it, the first four days of December have started off with freezing temperatures which is the first time this has happened in almost 150 years, according to the National Weather Service in Jacksonville. That frosty trend will warm up slightly Thursday morning when lows won’t be as frigid.
Wednesday evening will begin to cool down after sunset with skies becoming cloudier as a cold front moves in. Patchy frost is possible in some areas. Lows are expected to be in the low-mid 30s to mid-40s across the area.
Southeast Georgia and inland Northeast Florida have a slight chance of light showers while the front passes through on Thursday. Highs will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Friday we’ll see the dial turn down as the front moves through continuing into Saturday morning when more Freeze Warnings are expected.
