JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The warmest temperatures of the day basically happened over night when the high was recorded during the 1 a.m. hour.
Breezy winds will make it feel colder than the thermostat reading throughout Friday. Jackets are required during the day and into the evening.
Friday night into Saturday morning, a hard freeze is likely across areas of Southeast Georgia, meaning temperatures at/below 28 for at least an hour. In addition to the Hard Freeze, a freeze warning in inland Northeast Florida will once again require people, pets, pipes, and plants to be protected. Meanwhile, temperatures will stay below normal through the weekend before warming back up, with another round of cold air dropping in Thursday following a rainy Wednesday.
