JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Windy and cloudy conditions will stick around through the evening hours along with a 20% chance of light showers into the overnight hours. Warming temperatures will replace the cold mornings we’ve seen this week with little chance of returning until late next week.
An area of high pressure will dominate down the East Coast bringing in the windy conditions at the beaches of both Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida. A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect through Sunday morning, meaning the water is hazardous for swimmers. A high rip current risk is also in effect. With the full moon on Sunday, some coastal flooding during high tide could be present.
Above normal temperatures will hang out through early next week before returning to average on Thursday and Friday.
