JACKSONVILLE, FLA – Some coastal showers are expected to move in tonight, bringing a damp breeze to the area. It will be mild in the 60s. Along with the showers, thick sea fog will roll in from the coast, becoming dense overnight and spreading inland. This could reduce visibility significantly, so be cautious if you’re out late or early tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow northeast winds will bring breezy conditions and a few showers along the coast and into north-central Florida with dense foggy conditions through midmorning.. As highs reach the mid to upper 70s, a few afternoon showers are possible.
Patchy fog will form and spread inland Tuesday night. By Wednesday, a system moving north will bring more widespread showers and a chance for isolated afternoon storms as highs climb into the mid-70s to low 80s.
A cold front arriving late Wednesday night will ease rain chances with dry slightly cooler air Thursday. Tuesday night will be the warmest of the week, with lows in the 60s, before cooler air moves in Wednesday night, dropping lows to the mid-50s inland and low 60s near the coast.
The really cold air comes this weekend with a second cold front. Highs only reach the 50s with a potential inland freeze Sunday morning.
