JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Stormy weather is heading our way from the west where severe weather is causing thunderstorms along the Gulf coast.

A low-pressure storm system is also affecting areas of Texas, causing flight delays at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport on Saturday.
This ugly weather will affect our area Sunday afternoon and could make the last Jaguars home game a soaker. Plan accordingly and be prepared to be impacted by wet weather.

With elevated moisture in the air, we can’t rule out an isolated strong to severe thunderstorm as the tail end of the squall line approaches Southeast Georgia Sunday after lunchtime. Heavy winds, gusts, and potential tornadoes are also associated risks with this system.
The cold front will push through the area moving off-shore by late afternoon. Winds and temperatures will drop back to normal for Monday.
