MONDAY FORECAST
Temperatures will begin in the low 30s with breezy winds from the north and partly to mostly cloudy skies with no rain. Temperatures will peak into the mid-40s. Winds will calm into the early morning hours of Monday. The best chance for sunshine will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday night temperatures will drop into the 30s by 7 p.m. Inland counties will see temperatures in the 20s.



WEEKEND WRAP UP
The weekend rain accumulation was dominant along the I-10 and I-75 corridor and parts of I-95, varying between one to three inches of rain in a 48-hour period. There were reports of strong winds for Putnam, Flagler, and St. Johns counties with some downed trees and gusts ranging from 40 to 50 miles per hour.
WINTER STORM WATCH
Timeframe: Late Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon
Outcome: Up to one inch of snow for some parts; Ice one to two-tenths of an inch possible,
Location: Parts of northeast and northern Florida and southeast Georgia.
Impact: Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Ice accumulation on power lines and tree limbs may cause power outages. Plan on slippery road conditions. Driving will be dangerous and identifying ice will be difficult.



FREEZE WATCH
A freeze watch will go into effect due to sub-freezing temperatures as low as 27 possible for some inland counties
Areas of Impact: Portions of northeast and northern Florida and southeast Georgia.
Timeframe: From late Sunday night through Monday morning.

WINTRY MIX FORECAST
Tuesday evening mixed precipitation is possible for parts of central Georgia. Around Midnight on Wednesday, rain and freezing begins for parts of Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida with snow focused on Central Georgia and some parts of Southeast Georgia. Models remain in conflict with the line between warm and cold air on the surface and mid levels. Depending on the depth of freezing temperatures, the location of snow, freezing rain and rain will be determined. Driving on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning could become extremely dangerous for parts of I-10, I-75, I-295 and I-95 depending on the location of freeze air at the surface.
