JACKSONVILLE, FLA – After a comfortable weekend with temperatures in the 70s, we’re starting to warm up today. The good news is, it won’t feel sticky or humid! Winds from the south-southwest will help push temperatures into the mid-80s. Expect a sunny and dry day, with inland areas being the warmest.
Tonight will be partly cloudy and dry. Inland areas will cool down to the mid-50s, while the coast will stay around 60 degrees.
A dry cold front will move through tomorrow afternoon. There’s a small chance of a quick, light shower near the Florida coast, but mostly we’ll see more clouds. It will also get breezy, with temperatures warming up again to the mid-80s. Winds will blow from the southwest to west at 10 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph. These winds might even push temperatures close to 90 degrees in some areas, even along the coast. The usual sea breeze will stay out over the water.
Expect a slight cool-down after tomorrow’s front, but it won’t last long. The heat will return this weekend, with highs in the upper 80s.
