Tropical System Unlikely to Develop in Bay of Campeche Low pressure system forms in Bay of Campeche with limited development expected
NHC Update
Chances for tropical development remain low.
The latest from the National Hurricane Center is a broad area of low pressure could form over the Bay of Campeche on Friday before moving over land this weekend.
Conditions are not expected to be favorable for development and the system will move inland over Eastern Mexico.
A 10% chance of development remains for the next 48 hours and over the next seven days.
