Man says he was there when shooting occurred during car meeting outside grocery store
A witness told News4JAX on Tuesday that he was there when a 17-year-old was wounded in a shooting over the weekend at what the Jacksonville Sheriffโs Office said was a car club meeting in a parking lot on Roosevelt Boulevard.
Ex-Congresswoman Corrine Brown argues religious discrimination in appeal
Corriganโs decision came after the juror said the โHoly Spiritโ told him Brown was not guilty. โIf affirmed on appeal, the district courtโs holding poses significant concerns for religious people who believe that God communicates with them,โ said the brief, led by the Nebraska attorney generalโs office. But religious jurors may not say that they believe the inner voice they attribute to the divine told them the same thing. โThe district courtโs decision here handily withstands that review. โWhat the argument is that Corrine Brown was discriminated against in that she had a juror removed from her panel for religious reasons, and you canโt remove a juror for religious reasons,โ Nichols said Tuesday.

The proposal titled โanti-mob legislation draftโ would expand the list of โforcible feloniesโ under Floridaโs self-defense law to include property crimes. โWe donโt want to see our cities burning like across the nation without consequences, so Gov. Meanwhile, a rally to protest the proposal is planned for 1 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Duval County Courthouse. The first survey question by AP VoteCast found 42% of Florida voters surveyed have a gun in their household. Only 32% of Joe Biden voters have a gun in their house compared to 51% of President Donald Trump voters.

Gardner Minshew creates pair of jorts for fan on The Mark Brunell Show
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. โ Back by popular demand, Gardner Minshew made his second special appearance Monday evening on The Mark Brunell Show. The Jaguars rookie quarterback has his own kind of style -- and he was willing to share while on the show. He created a pair of jorts, on the spot, for one fan by trimming the man's jeans with a pair of scissors. Seeing it down here, it really is awesome," said Minshew, who joined teammate Myles Jack News4Jax sports anchor and reporter Cole Pepper on the show. When Minshew made his debut on The Mark Brunell Show last week, his goal was to get better after Week 2's heartbreaking loss to the Texans.
