JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Dutch Bros, a coffee chain that serves a variety of hot and cold drinks, opened its first location in Jacksonville on Friday, Nov. 22 on Jacksonville’s Westside.
The new location launched with a rocky start, having to delay serving customers due to issues.

News4JAX received this statement from a Dutch Bros representative about the delay: “The location faced delays this morning, but the new location is open and ready to serve customers!”
The extremely popular coffee spot opened on Nov. 22 at 5733 Roosevelt Blvd. This marks the eighth Dutch Bros location in Northeast Florida, according to the Jacksonville Daily Record.
To celebrate, customers could enjoy any medium-sized drink for $3 on the day of the opening.
A second Jacksonville location is also expected to open at 7720 Argyle Forest Blvd, the Jacksonville Daily Record reported.
Dutch Bros was founded in Grants Pass, Oregon in 1992 and is now sharing its vibrant culture and fully customizable drinks at over 950 locations across 18 states.
